Description
A letter dated January 1811 written and signed by French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821), also known as Napoleon I, to the Duc de Feltre, acknowledging the Duke's letter and ordering that the troops still stationed at Barcelona should remain in place. The letter is signed with the commonly seen 'NP' variation of his signature. Matted and presented with a portrait of the emperor in a gold-toned frame behind glass. COA from Kenneth W. Rendell Gallery displayed verso.

Good condition. Letter has creases where it was once folded.
