Description
A Chinese famille verte bowl, dating from the Kangxi period (1661-1722). A deep bowl with lotus molded body around sides, finely executed famille verte decoration wit fish, insects, and birds. With recessed foot and slight curving outwards rim. Central design of two birds with red flowers, also around inner rim. Antique with four legs within double blue circle stamp on base.
