A Chinese Cinnabar Red Lacquer Box and Cover

20th century, raised decoration of a pair of pheasants sitting on plum blossom branches above a square ground, raised peony blossom and scrolling vine decoration with ruyi cloud trim encircle the central scene on the cover and repeat to the bottom of box, chrysanthemum petal design around foot, interior is black with brass metal to rims.
