Korean Chaekgeori eight panel floor screen, executed in ink and gouache on paper with silk borders, the eight panels together depict a Korean scholar's bookshelf with vases, chimes, stone chops, calligraphy brushes, a toad, and auspicious flowers, amidst books and scrolls, backed with blue cloth on the end panels and green paper on the interior panels, having a chop amidst the objects at lower left that may be the artist's signature. Approx. h. 70", w 16.5". (each panel) Overall. h. 70", w. 132".

Overall good. There are 3-4 faint stains at the top of the last (3) panels ranging from 1/4" to 1". There is a water stain on the bottom of the last panel approx. 5"h x 8"l. Does not impinge on image. Two punctures to paper, first panel from the left .75" tear to the lower block and fourth panel from the left 1.5" tear between the black margin and lower block.
