This antique French champleve enamel cloisonne onyx & gilt bronze table stand is an absolutely stunning & rare item. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate all the work involved, especially within the colourful details. It’s in excellent condition & I would date this piece to around the 1890-1910 period. The square top sits on four turned columns which sit on a square stepped plinth base with gilt bronze paw feet. The top edge has gilt bronze mounts & gilt bronze insets with beautiful champlev? enamelwork. The same decoration is set in three sections going down the columns. The details & workmanship within this are exquisite. I really don’t think you will find another one out there like this table.
