Chinese 18th Century rectangular, shallow Canton Enamel Planter on 4 small feet with flowers on a brocade ground; together with 2 Handles of molded bronze enameled in clear colors. Width of bowl 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm.). PROVENANCE: Private collection, New York.
Condition
Age related wear with typical stress-hairlines and small chips to the planter, with a dent to 1 side with missing enamel inside and out, 2 drainage holes to base with enamel losses inside and out, flakes to mouth edges; the 2 handles with flakes and wear at high points of enamels.
