American Carved Mahogany Needlepoint Hall Chair, 19th c., the arched T-back with a pierced leaf carved crest rail over the original needlework panel, above a trapezoidal cushioned seat, on leaf carved cabriole legs with casters, in deep blue velvet upholstery, H.- 53 in., W.- 21 in., D.- 26 in. Provenance: from the Estate of Dr. Peter Elwood Dorsett, New Orleans, Louisiana.
