A GROUP OF SEVEN PAIRS OF SOUTHWESTERN BOOKENDS AND A SINGLE BOOKEND, AMERICAN, 20TH CENTURY, comprising a pair of red/brown glass bookends in the form of a teepee; a pair of cast iron bookends with the raised image of a Native American chief in right profile; a pair of cast iron bookends with a wounded Native American on horseback; a pair of copper bookends with a Native American chief in left profile; a pair of cast iron bookends with the image of a Native American chief in frontal view; a pair of gilt bronze bookends with the image of a wounded Native American and each titled "The End of the Trail," in raised lettering at the front center; a pair of cast iron bookends in the form of a Native American on horseback with his arms spread; and a single spelter bookend in the form of a star with the image of a Native American chief in left profile and inscribed with the words "Second Division;" tallest height: 6 1/2 ''.
Condition
There is a small chip on the reverse of one of the glass bookends, and there is minor pitting, rust, discoloration and wear on the metal pieces. There are also some pieces of old tape.
