Oil on canvas, French School, apparently unsigned, circa 18th century. Unframed dimensions: 39 1/2 x 39 1/2 inches. Framed dimensions: 45 x 45 inches.
Provenance: By descent to the present owner from the consignor's great uncle, James Rorimer (1905-1966), museum curator and director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City, 1955-1966.
