Description
Beautiful antique pottery vase with tan, black and red swirls in geometric patterns. Signed on bottom - Bill Freeman 99. Bill (William) Edward Freeman (1926/27 - 2012) was active/lived in Arizona and Wyoming. He is known for landscapes, wildlife and western genre painting, and pottery restoration. Another phase of Freemans artistic output was restoring ancient Indian pottery and duplicating the original down to the finest detail. Freeman began doing the restorations not for profit, but rather as a challenge to recreate the work of craftsmen long gone. PROVENANCE: This item is from the estate of Falquier and Harned Ltd.
