Condition
The case is in excellent condition with no visible dents, cracks, or losses. When inspected under UV light, there is no sign of restoration. There is a minute loss to the gilding, which is not visible at arm length. On the inner side and the surface that is not covered with enamel, there are some areas of discoloration possibly due to oxidation, which one can easily expect given its age and use. Light wear throughout. The case opens and closes smoothly. Please contact us for a detailed condition report. Please note that the lack of a condition statement does not imply perfect condition. Email condition@revereauctions.com with any condition questions.
