Northwest Aluminum Specialty Company (N.W.A.S. Co.)
Table lamp with ornate overlay

USA, c. 1920
brass-plated aluminum and iron, slag glass
27.125 h x 20.875 dia in (69 x 53 cm)

Lamp features an overlay decorated in foliage, cornucopia, urns, planters and swans, and one light source within the base. Cast manufacturer's mark to base 'N.W.A.S.C.'.

This work will ship from Wright in Chicago, Illinois.

Condition

Overlay and hardware shows abundant signs of age, some areas of oxidation, and scattered losses to the plating, especially towards the base. Glass detailed in tones of blue, crimson and copper is free of significant breaks or losses. Finial does not screw down all the way to the top of the shade and may not be original. Wired for American use and functions appropriately when tested, but cord does show age and dryness. Good overall vintage condition.
