size: h 24.25 inches L 14.5 inches. ASKart: Ernest Rancoulet (1870 - 1915) was active/lived in France. Ernest Rancoulet is known for Realist figure and portrait bust sculpture. Art Nouveau-style lamp featuring a woman figurine in a flowing dress, holding two lights on either side of her head. The lamp is made of cast metal or spelter and stands at 24.25 inches in height. The lamp is designed to be used as a newel post lamp, meaning it would be mounted on a newel post at the bottom of a staircase to provide light. The lamp is believed to have been made in the early 20th century, during the Art Nouveau movement which emphasized ornate, flowing designs inspired by nature and the female form. The lamp's intricate details and decorative features make it a fine example of Art Nouveau style.
