Description
Philip Larson (American, 1944-2019). 24k gold leaf on gessoed paper titled "The Second Millstone (Wheat)" depicting a wheal of wheat that seemingly grows as the wheel turns, 1984. Signed, dated, and titled along the lower right. Many of the artist's works are held in the collections of the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He worked as a professor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) for many years.

There are no visible rips, losses, or restorations when inspected under UV light. There is an undulation to the sheet. The artwork is floated in frame. Light wear to the frame; framed under plexiglass; not inspected out of frame.
