A Chinese blue-enameled porcelain ink stand
Qianlong period, Qing dynasty
With enameled flowers and scrollwork.
H: 7/8, W: 3 1/8, D: 1 1/2 in.
H: 2.22, W: 7.94, D: 3.81 cm.
Provenance: Mrs. Jolovitz, Bethesda, Maryland. Mrs. Jolvitz was born in Shanghai in the 1930s. Her parents left Russia in the 1920s and moved to Harbin, China, then Shanghai and Hong Kong. Eventually, they immigrated to United States in 1950s. These items were collected by Mrs. Jolovitz's mother in Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Two of the feet with a chip, one with loss. Enamel chipping and loss throughout.
