Description
The globular body is decorated with a wide naturalistic frieze of peonies, asters, nandinia berries and cherry blossoming branches growing from ornamental rocks, all below ruyi heads to the shoulder leading to lotus scrolls and bats on a lime-green ground under a band of ruyi heads to the rim. The base is glazed turquoise with a Chinese Jiaqing seal mark. Height: 32 cm.
