A PAIR OF CLOISONNE ENAMEL FIGURES OF COCKERELS, c. 1920s

China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Each modeled standing, with folded wings, the head turned to one side, the plumage finely enameled in white and accentuated in polychrome enamels, the feathers well detailed in gilt wire, the exposed bronze areas finished in fine gilding. The undersides with a reticulated sphere.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear and manufacturing irregularities such as expected pitting and few minor nicks. A dent to the backside of one cockerel.
