Three-slat back with rounded finials above a rush seat with cookie corner top legs and stretcher base, retains an incredible original black painted surface with yellow decoration, exhibits all the right kind of wear, a beautiful chair, RISD Museum accession number D36.592.

Deaccessioned from The Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island, D36.592. Gift of Margarethe L. Dwight to the museum. All proceeds from the collection are being used to further expand and preserve the current collection.
