Material: Cotton Blend

Dimension [INCHES]: 88" X 102"

Provenance: Cotton blend sampler quilt, all hand pieced and hand quilted, consisting of a top made by Leroy Markley of Mentone, Indiana that was hand quilted by members of the Amish community in Nappannee, Indiana. The quilt was made in the 1970's with fabrics from the mid 20th century. There is hand quilting around the piecework and in braided and pinwheel designs in the background, all at 8-9 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched binding are light blue and the batting is thin.
