Nice, period 19th century American mahogany pillar and scroll mantel clock with the original paper label on the inside back panel, ?Eli Terry, made and sold at Plymouth, Connecticut?. Mahogany case with a broken pediment and 3 brass finials, a hinged glass door with an eglomise bordered reverse painting on glass of a colonial structure and landscape, with major paint loss. 2 tapered columns flanking the door atop a scalloped skirt with bracket feet. Hand painted numeric clock face and original works.
Measures 31? tall, 17.25? wide, 4.5? deep. Pendulum, two weights, winding key and door key present.
