Larry Moses Begay (Native American, Dine (Navajo), 1969- present), Silver & Pinto Valley Turquoise Pendant, ca. late 20th to 21st century CE. A spectacular silver medallion brooch / pendant inlaid with dozens of petit point cut Pinto Valley turquoise. The verso has a pin clasp and pendant loop, and is signed "LMB / Sterling / Navajo." A chain with a strand of silver "pearl" style beads is paired with this medallion and can be worn with or separately and have a hook-eye clasp. The Begay family are famous silversmiths with several generations of award-winning artisans. Size of pendant: 5" Diameter (12.7 cm); necklace: 26" L (66 cm); silver quality: 89.6% to 95.8%; total weight: 167.4 grams

Condition
Pendant has some toning and dark patina, and is pre-owned condition with some wear. One stone near center has a dark blue pigment on surface, but otherwise intact and great condition. Necklace is a separate piece added to medallion. Intact and great condition. Both are wearable.
