Description
Antique Chinese hand carved white jade vase which is signed with a chop mark on the underside of its base. The vase itself measures approximately 4" tall and is 4 3/4" tall when on what appears to be its original carved wooden base. The vase is decorated with open reticulation work around the body and at the shoulder with relief carving on the neck. Condition - excellent We took pictures outside in natural light (sunlight)as many of your requested - the first 2 were indoors photography lighting. Thank you. Note: We believe this is to be made for The Qianlong Emperor (Sept 25,1711 to Feb 7, 1799, known by his temple name Emperor Gaozong of Qing, personal name Hongli, was the 5th emperor of the Qing Dynasty and the 4th Qing emperor to rule over China proper. The markings refer to this information.
