A vintage oil painting on canvas depicting a portrait of a woman, after the original oil painting on canvas, The Blue Cup de Camp, 1909, by Joseph Rodefer DeCamp, American, 1858 to 1923. Signed by the artist, Bambi K, and dated 1972, lower right. Framed. Joseph Rodefer DeCamp was an American painter and educator. DeCamp became known as a member of the Boston School led by Edmund C. Tarbell and Emil Otto Grundmann, focusing on figure painting, and in the 1890s adopting the style of Tonalism. He was a founder of the Ten American Painters, a group of American Impressionists, in 1897. One of a kind artwork.
