Description
19th Century music box with inlaid wood flower design made in Geneva, Switzerland. Maker B.A. Bremond. Measures approx 17.25" L x 8.75" W x 5.75" tall. The wood below two hinges have cracks, no key, some damaged parts are included. Has been tested and does play. (From the direct descendants of Baynard & Mary Gibson Henry. Both were prominent figures and contributors in Philadelphia. Mary Gibson Henry was a notable botanist and her plant collections were the first in creation of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University in Philadelphia.)
