Luppe Heilbrunner, Munchen, Germany monumental hall clock in a carved oak case with full bodied male and female figures supporting frame around open well, heavily carved scroll top with reeded half columns, triple paneled base all resting on large turned feet, brass and silvered dial with arabic numerals and engraved Art Nouveau decoration, engraved "Gesetzuch Geschutzt" for patent protected, Art Nouveau blued steel hands, 8 day, time and strike weight driven movement with unusual ornamental pressed brass pendulum bob in stylized solar form and fancy pressed brass ornamental torpedo weights
Condition
old finish in good condition, case with other minor imperfections; silvering on dial with losses and oxidation; well carved life-like figures along with very interesting highly ornamental weights and pendulum make for an impressive presentation in this monumental hall clock, ACCESSORIES: Two Brass Weights, Pendulum, Movement, Hood Door, Base, circa 1880
