American. 1890s. Papier mache. Paper on metal dial with Roman numerals. Eight-day brass spring driven timepiece. Baird manufactured wooden cases in Montreal that housed clock movements bought from Seth Thomas. Marked, "El Caza & Honeymoon Cigars" and "J.M. Fortier Creme de la Creme Cigar Factory Montreal". "Marked, "The Baird Clock Co.", on face of clock. Marked, "Plattsburgh, N.Y. U.S.A". 31" x 18.5" x 4".

Condition

Original dial shows scratches, minor losses and light surface stains. Original varnished case surface. Key and pendulum included.
