Description
Acrylic on canvas 50.5 x 39.5 in. He was born in Adolfo González Chávez in 1957 and died in Mar del Plata on July 2, 2021. He trained in La Plata in the 1960s, continuing as a self-taught person. He had his workshop in the Peralta Ramos Forest in Mar del Plata. In cinematography he was the author of short films in Super 8 and video; and founder in 1983 of the Kamikaze Cinema group. In 1988 he worked together with the La Frontera collective, creating the multimedia exhibition Grita Memoria. He worked with his brother's rock band, Los Caballeros de Pedro Juan, in graphics and video, creating the cover art for the two CDs released by the group. He exhibited individually and in groups in New York, Miami, Barcelona, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Barcelona, Mar del Plata and in his hometown. “Usually associated with constructive abstraction, Menna's work is the result of a process of fascination and break with the avant-garde.”
