For your consideration is a late 19th Century enameled bronze figure of an elephant carrying the Buddhist 'Golden Wheel'. The "Golden Wheel", also known as the Wheel of Dharma, is an auspicious symbol that Buddha is said to have set the in motion when he delivered his first sermon. The "turning of the wheel" signifies a great and revolutionary change with universal consequences, brought about by an exceptional human being. No markings noted.
Provenance: From a clean, retired military estate in San Antonio, Texas.

There are some losses to enamel noted and the dharma wheel figure sits in hole on elephants back but is no longer 'secured'.
