Otto Pippel - At the Fishing Harbor, German, 1st half of the 20th centuryÖl auf Leinwand. In ausdrucksstarkem Impasto ausgeführte Darstellung zweier vertäuter Segelboote. Unten rechts signiert "Otto Pippel". In vergoldetem Profilrahmen aus Holz. Bildmaße 33 x 41 cm, mit Rahmen 49,5 x 57 cm.Otto Pippel (1878 - 1960) war ein in München ansässiger deutscher Maler des Postimpressionismus. Von den einflussreichsten Pariser Impressionisten der Zeit geprägt, malte Otto Pippel neben gesellschaftlichen Motiven auch Stadtveduten sowie Landschaften. Schon zu Lebzeiten berühmt, wurde Pippel ab 1911 fast jährlich im Glaspalast ausgestellt. Condition: I - II
