Metal Pennsylvania Railroad gate sign for "The General" which was a sister train to the famed Broadway Limited covering the same route at only a slightly longer duration. The sign is double sided and painted with the two end points of the route which were Chicago and New York. The sign measures 50 1/2" x 12". Sign shows paint wear and scratches from storage, but is still in very presentable condtion.
