A group of four Western Union or Western Electric telegraph sounders. Includes a sounder mounted on wooden board marked W.U.T.Co. Repeating Sounder-2-B 100 Ohms. The hardware feels loosened from the base and has stickers at the front. The armature is also partially loose. Sounder by Foote, Pearson & Co mounted to wooden board with identification tag marked W.U.Tel.Co Main Line Sounder 15B 120-Ohm. Similar sounder by Foote, Pearson & Co with wooden base engraved W.U.Tel.Co. Main Line Sounder 15B 120 Ohms. A larger 7 1/4" x 4" sounder mounted to wooden and cast iron base with a brass tag W.U.Tel.Co. Morse Relay 4-C 100 Ohm, showing moderate discoloration and wear. The group all show general to moderate discoloration, cracked wood, spots of tarnish, worn paint, wear, and dust from storage. See photos for best description.
