Maker marked "Copyright 1914 Charles E. Hires Co., Philadelphia, PA." A c. 1920s "Drink Hires / It Hits the Spot / Try a Bottle and You'll Buy a Case" embossed tin sign. CONDITION: The sign has good color and shine throughout, with minor rubs to the raised Hires lettering. The sign also shows areas of rice paper staining as well as other surface stains and scratches. The hanging holes show very minor damage, as well as staining and minor edgewear on the outer edges of the piece. Condition: (8.25). Dimensions: 18" X 9"
