Oceania, Polynesia, Fiji Islands, ca. 19th century CE. A hand-carved coconut bowl of utilitarian form bearing incised linear motifs around the shoulder and walls; this form of vessel was used in kava ceremonies. Size: 6.375" L x 6.2" W x 3.2" H (16.2 cm x 15.7 cm x 8.1 cm)
