Item Details
Description
Montblanc 146 black celluloid fountain pen. The 140 series were the last of the Montblanc series to be made in celluloid when they were first introduced, they are heavier than the resin pens of the 1960s and had a different feel. This example is marked 146G on the piston knob and OBB though the 4810 14C Montblanc 585 two-tone nib appears to be more of an OB. Striated barrel window and raised gold filled centre cap band. Length 5 1/4” and 6 1/8” posted, filing mechanism is piston fill. Overall good condition with general wear throughout and visible brassing to trim, pen was water tested and filled at time of listing.
