Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A set of 2 hand-built pottery figures of a man clad in finer and a nude woman, each standing atop delineated legs. The woman exhibits shoulder cicatrice nodules as well as a coiffure that wraps around the front of her right breast. Remains of orange pigment are visible across her surfaces. The taller male figure presents with round shell necklace ornaments, ear spools, a septum ring, and a braided headwrap. Size of largest: 1.1" L x 3.7" W x 7.4" H (2.8 cm x 9.4 cm x 18.8 cm)
