A fine and scarce book signed by Neil Armstrong, ?First On the Moon? (Little, Brown and Company, Boston, 1970), Book Club edition, 8vo (5.75? x 8.5?) hardbound, 495pp. Boldly inscribed and signed by Armstrong on the half title page, in full: ?To Dan Henige with best wishes Neil Armstrong Apollo 11?. Black cloth, blind stamped with title on front cover and with gilt titles to spine. Near fine condition, with an ownership sticker on first free endpaper. Contained within a very good, very slightly foxed dust jacket.?Books inscribed and signed by Neil Armstrong are quite rare.

Neil Armstrong (1930-2012) was an American astronaut and aeronautical engineer who became the first person to walk on the Moon in 1969. He was also a naval aviator, test pilot, and university professor.
