[ARTIST INFORMATION: Born Huang Hongbing in 1956, went on to graduate from the Guangxi Art Institute in 1982. Continuing his education, he went on to attend the Central Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1986. After his training, he went on to become a Professor and Vice President of the Academy of Fine Arts of Guangxi Art Institute, as well as becoming a member of the Chinese Artists Association, member and director of the Guangxi Artist Association, and Deputy Director of the Guangxi Oil Painting Association. His works have won awards at the 1st National Oil Painting Exhibition, Shanghai (1988), the China Oil Painting Exhibition, Beijing (1989), and 1st prize at the 9th National Art Exhibition of Guanxi Province (1999), and have been featured in many National Art Exhibitions throughout China.
