This is a set of French 18K gold Diamond Emerald Sapphire and Ruby necklace or brooch with pair of earrings made in 1950-60's. The suite include a brooch necklace featuring Ruby caboshons measuring 11-11.20 x 6.70 and 7.8 x 6.8" x 4.00 mm. with a total weight of 12 ct. The cabochons weighing a total of 15 ct. The emerald caboshons weighing total of 8 ct Diamonds weighing a total of approx 2ct with a pair of earrings centering oval shaped with Sapphire caboshons measuring 11.25 x 9.00 x 4.20 mm and 11.25 x 9.00 x 4.00 mm and full cut diamonds weighing a total of approx 1.00ct and Rubys total of 4.00 ct Sapphires total of approx 8ct and Emeralds weighing of approx 5 ct. All set in platinum and 18K gold with French hallmarks. Total Diamonds weight is approx 3ct. Total weight of Sapphire is approx 28ct. Total Emerald weight is approx 13ct. The whole set weights 83.8 grams. The necklace with the chain weights 51 grams and the pair of earring weights 32.8 grams. The chain measures 20" long. The necklace by itself measures 2.45" by 1.75" by 1". Each earring measures 1.25" diameter and 0.65" deep. A similar piece was sold in December 2018 at Southeby's auction. It has a wonderful detail design and patina.
