Description
Rosewood Etagere Attributed To Daniel Pabst Circa 1850. This piece is featured on page 144 of Richard and Eileen Dubrow's landmark book, "American Furniture of The 19th Century 1840-1880." A beautiful etagere in the rococo revival style with serpentine front base, high relief bonnet carvings including heavy pierced carved crown with flowers, fruit, scrolls and large turned finials. Upper portion has a mirrored back divided into three sections with turned pilasters, six shelves with spindles and serpent supports. The base is decorated with carved classical flower urns, shell and flower carvings. This piece is in two parts. Measures 108 3/4" High X 59 1/4" Wide X 21 1/2" Deep.
