PAIR highly important CLOISONNE ENAMEL KNEELING FIGURES
Secular gilt-bronze figures embellished with cloisonne enamels are rare. Kneeling on one knee, the figure is modelled with a smiling expression supporting a stuff decorated with cloisonne enamels against a blue enamel ground, the man is wearing an armour covering the protruding belly, the face and upper body gilded.
