Inscription: At the lower part signed in the printing plate: "H. Wilkins del. / L. Caracciolo inc.". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: " Temple de Vénus".

Date: 1819

Description: The graphic shows a landscape of ruins in the centre of Pompeii with the remains of ancient columns and staircase-like structures. A mountain panorama can be seen in the background. A seated person can be seen in the left foreground. The engraving is a detailed depiction of historical architecture.
