A Japanese Kyo-yaki incense stand, late 18th century, the rectilinear body reticulated with honey-comb design and enamelled in typical colours with dragon roundels, the whole raised on a integral base with shaped legs, with Worcester Porcelain Works Museum label to base and hand written label 'Old Kioto,' 9 cm x 8 cm x 4 cm A similarly decorated and pierced vase is in the British Royal Collection, RCIN 100937, illustrated in John Ayers, Chinese and Japanese Woks of Art in the Collection of Her Majesty The Queen, vol. II, PP. 706-707
