Year 2002.Neive small country town , immersed in the Langhe, land of famous wines, Barolo and Barbaresco Romano Levi became famous in the seventies thanks to the gastronome Luigi Veronelli, who defined him as the Grappaiolo Angelico on the pages of the weekly Epoca; the definition of angelico was also inspired by the name Serafino Levi, Romano's father, which remained as the name of the company. His grappas were judged to be rough, frank, strongly anchored to the peasant tradition, devoid of softness and sweetening, without concessions to traditional softness"modernist". His art as a distiller was also appreciated by many famous enthusiasts, from former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, Cesare Romiti, Marcello Mastroianni, Antonello Venditti, Andrea Bocelli, RobyFacchinetti, Bruno Lauzi, Tino Buazzelli, Nicola Ariglianoimmersed in the Langhe, land of famous wines, Barolo and Barbaresco
