The plate is enameled with a polychrome medallion in a shape of a flower depicting two sparrows in blossoming chrysanthemum flowers surrounded by floral, foliage, and scrollwork patterns, made in the Cloisonne technique. The backside of the ware is adorned with images of flowers made in the same technique.

the ground is inlaid with a Goldstone.
