The Pima (Akimel O'Odham), who reside in central and southern Arizona, produced magnificent baskets with meaningful designs and patterns. Their finely-coiled baskets are made of cattail or bear grass foundation and closely stitched with willow and devil's claw (for designs). APPROX AGE: Antique (meaning prior to 1930).
SIZE: This basket measures approximately 7 1/2 inches deep x 9 1/2 inches in diameter.
