Description
Available here for your consideration is an antique pair of Buermann Good Luck spurs. These spurs are engraved with 4 leaf clovers and a Whirling Logs (old time good luck symbol before WWII). They still have their heel chains attached and the rowels are 20 points. A nice pari of old Buermann spurs in a more rare pattern. These spurs are fine examples of a bygone era, make your bid today!
PROVENANCE: Earl Bridges estate. Earl was a well-known bit and spur collector and a walking encyclopedia on the history of them.
MAKER: Stamped STAR STEEL SILVER on the inner band and a star on the outer band. Buermann.
APPROX AGE: Antique (meaning made prior to the 1930s).
SIZE: The heel openings measure 2 7/8 inches, the band width measures 7/8 inches and the shanks measure 2 7/8 inches long overall.
CONDITION: Average to good for their age, normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
