A German antique wooden and silver plated box by Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik WMF. Circa the second half of the 19th century, early 20th century. The box with a hinged pyramid shaped lid in the manner of a chest is decorated with a relief medieval European pattern. Hallmarked with the manufacture marks to the bottom.
