This antique 19th-century French ormolu bronze candlestick by Ferdinand Barbedienne features a Neoclassical design with a nude putti cherub figure supporting a jardiniere-form candle bobeche atop his head. The bobeche is adorned with a detailed relief of grape clusters and botanical elements. Similar decorative designs adorn the cherub's bare feet. The candlestick is mounted on a circular stepped Classical column base. The artist's impressed signature is located on the top of the base, with a foundry mark on the underside.

Condition: Good overall antique condition having average surface wear with patina, and some wax residue. Estate fresh to the market.
