Elvis Presley's Personally Owned and Worn Custom Made Leather and Mink Coat W/Photo and Graceland LOA - This is a custom made mink fur and leather coat that was personally owned and frequently worn by Elvis Presley. The mink coat has leather shoulders, collar, pockets, belt with leather down the undersides of the arms, and an eight-button front closure. Elvis eventually gave the coat to then-fiancee, Ginger Alden, for her brother Mike. The coat is accompanied by a letter from Rosemary Alden Starkey which states in part, "This mink jacket is authentic and was given to my brother, Mike Alden who is also a brother to my sister Ginger Alden who was Elvis' fiancee at the time of his death. One night while my sister Ginger was at Graceland visiting, Elvis decided to go thru his closet and asked Ginger if he thought that Mike could wear this mink jacket as my brother was about the same size of Elvis and Elvis wanted to give it to him as he was very fond of Mike." Mike Alden eventually donated the coat to charity for a nationwide raffle and it was then won by an adoring fan. The coat is accompanied by a copy of an article titled "Teacher Wins Elvis' Mink-In Great Globe Contest," which tells the story of how the dedicated Elvis Presley fan was ecstatic at winning her idol's coat in the contest. The article also describes her good fortune winning after the loss of her husband and raising four girls on her own, and she credits Elvis' music as having helped her survive troubling times. The coat will also come with a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated and a photograph of Ginger Alden and Elvis wearing what appears to be this coat.
