Many have seen Rolex signature design the 3,6,9 known to be the explorer dial as it is frequently seen on the model ?Explorer?. The origins of the explorer dial submariner date back to the mid-1950?s with the reference 6200 and most of them were made for the U.K. Market. The present watch was manufactured in 1964 and features the correct ?Swiss T<25 Dial?, which is the transitional period for when Rolex stop using radium and transfer to tritium.

Dial: Excellent Aged Condition Rare Explorer 3,6,9 Dial in super glossy condition with two tone prints and a bit of minor hairline & flaws which can only be seen with the loupe (Please view photo #5-7); the lumes have turned into creamy color along with original matching hands; crystal is quite scratched which might have reflected on the dial; therefore, we have taken it off to show the actual condition of the dial
